Michele O'Mara is an Indianapolis-based award-winning therapist, educator, and author (Ask me! 728 Questions for Heterosexual and Gay Couples, and Love Tips and Trips and a free e.book My Boundaries). She specializes in the social support and personal development of gay and lesbian relationships as a certified Imago Relationship Therapist. Michele works with gay men and lesbians both as individuals and as couples.
Michele has also created a variety of services and supports for gay men and women, including: a "Healthy Gay and Lesbian Relationship" workshops series which she brings to gay men and women in cities throughout the United States, a friendship-connection service for gay men and women seeking a safe, healthy venue to make friendships with other gay men and lesbians - www.mutualfriends.org, and a Relationship Studio that brings together single and partnered lesbians as well as same-sex headed families, to connect, learn, and just have fun.
In 2002, Michele was noted as "someone to watch" by the Indianapolis Star, and in 2004, the Indianapolis Monthly voted Michele the "Best gay and lesbian couple's therapist."
