I live in San Jose, Ca. I am riding the wave of the recession, no job for months, we lost our house, lost a beloved dog around the same time we lost the house. Been a pleasant year.

When I work, it has been a lot of years in the AIDS battles, political campaigns and advocacy, especially for people of color.

I lived in New Mexico for 10 years and worked as a lobbyist there. I helped pass an ENDA bill and a hate crimes bill, both transgender inclusive. I also spent eight years on the Democratic National Committee, spoke at the 2000 convention and was part of the ill fated of LLEGO, the national Latino LGBT group.
