Eight years ago George W. Bush ran for the office of President. We all heard him declare, over and over and over, that he was "a uniter, not divider." In the elections of 2000 and 2004 the nation was deeply divided, not united. America was split, almost up the middle, half of the nation supporting Bush, half of the nation opposing Bush; half of the nation embracing Bush, half of the nation despising him. Now, eight years later, the nation is finally united, in almost total unison: United in the belief that Bush has been a disaster for the nation, United in the belief that Bush has destroyed our economy and United in their disapproval of Bush. Finally, George W. Bush can honestly stand under a banner reading, "Mission Accomplished!
