Remind me again...

With the severe flooding in the Southwest, the blizzards and raging snowstorms of the Northwest and here in Indiana, the melting of the polar ice caps and the Asian earthquakes and tsunami as recent headlines, I would like George W. Bush to explain to me again why he decided that the Global Warming Treaty and other environmental treaties he broke weren't worth anything? Why is it okay to cut down the national forests? Why is it okay to drill for oil in nature preserves? How is it that the climate of the Earth isn't changing? Oh, that's right. According to George our worst problems are gay marriage and Iraq's non-existent weapons of mass destruction. It reminds me of the story of Nero - fiddling while Rome burns. Suddenly straight men everywhere will divorce their wives now that they can marry other men and Iraqis will be throwing rocks across the Atlantic, George says. Mother Nature says otherwise and has different priorities.
