You may have noticed the advertisement for the Indiana AIDS Fund's Spotlight 2007 over in the upper right hand corner of the site. While I was going to wait until the redesign of the site was complete before putting up the advertisements, we've ran into a snag with the design. (How do you hurry "free?" I'm grateful that she's willing to help!) With all the increased traffic though, it seemed like a no-brainer to see if we could cover our costs.

You'll notice that there are two active ad strips now. The top one is for premium ad space, while the second is the spot for standard ads. (Which is the technical way of saying you'll pay more for a premium ad!) If you'd like to advertise on, simply click the Advertise Here link under the ad strips. We will not accept any ads that aren't safe for work, so don't worry about something popping up on the computer when you're sneaking a break from that spreadsheet you're working on.

Currently, the premium spot will cost you $50 a week and the standard spot fetches $25 a week for regular sized ads (rates vary for other sizes). Discounts apply for longer term ads. I've also set up a way for non-profits to advertise events (like Spotlight 2007) for free. E-mail me if you're interested in a free ad for your event. Ads will get approximately 10,000 impressions and our readership keeps growing weekly.

Thanks for supporting - by both purchasing ads and clicking on the sponsor's themselves. We'll keep bringing you our thoughts, opinions and LGBT news - but without wondering how to pay the bills! *grins*
