Dana, in her own words for the Israeli Press, on a group of Orthodox who disturbed one of her shows in Tel Aviv and had the performance canceled:

I cannot understand with what right the orthodox allow themselves to disturb the show of an artist in the centre of Tel-Aviv, the capital of the secular state. The orthodox are a minority in Tel-Aviv, just like us the gays, and they have no right to dictate the public. Who made them judges to determine what is impure and what is not? If I had done anything against God's will, would He have let me succeed?"
