Usually I try to be deep with the Questions of the Thursday, but I'm not feeling deep right now. Who's your all-time favorite band or singer?

Queen, I think. Mostly for Love of my Life. I love this video:

And I've started listening to opera recently... I really like Pavarotti's Nessun Dorma (real shocker, that) and Maria Callas' Habanera.

Like any good lesbian would say, my faves are the Indigo Girls and Melissa Etheridge, but my all-time fave is Layne Staley (Alice in Chains) and Michael Stipe (R.E.M.)

Right now I'm really digging on MIKA, but for all-time fave, I'd have to go with either Sarah McLachlan or Phish.

Ani DiFranco is my all time fav, but has anyone given a listen to The Cliks- they're rating pretty high with me lately.

Don't know about the "all-time" part, but recently I love the Black-Eyed Peas --- is the definition of cool, Fergie is female-hot and presses whatever heterosexual buttons I have, is male-hot and a great dancer, Taboo aspires to be a philanthropist someday --- they exude Los Angeles energy, and musically they are the best merging of hip-hop and funk that we've seen this decade.

You expect me to settle on just one? You've got to be kidding me.... I adored Joni Mitchell, Queen, and Fleetwood Mac growing up. I'm a big fan of Dar Williams. Ella Fitzgerald. Diana Krall. Jeff Buckley. Moxy Fruvous. Too many to count, really.
