Advocate claims TBP column as "exclusive"

We've all been hearing about the Advocate's recent problems. But one thing I had to point out is how magazines like the Advocate haven't kept up with the changing times. More and more folks are canceling their subscriptions because by the time the magazine arrives in the mailbox, they've read the news weeks before online. Sadly, they don't seem too interested in fixing the problem instead of just trudging forward. Take, for example, this clip I just took from their site:

The only problem? It's not exclusive content for the Advocate. We ran a guest post by Dennis Shepard on July 14th - two weeks before they reposted it. And the two columns match word for word. I wouldn't really mind if I didn't keep seeing other posts popping up like wildfire talking about "the Advocate's column" while actually they're two weeks late to the party.
