It's not often that I find myself speechless. Of course, sometimes the best retort is just to say nothing. This one speaks for itself.

The former head of faith-based programs in Ohio was arrested Wednesday on charges he promoted prostitution, local news organizations report.

WCMH-TV reports that Robert McFadden, director of the Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives under Democratic Gov. Ted Strickland until October 2007, faces seven felony charges, including promotion of prostitution.

He is accused of operating a rate-a-prostitute website, among other things.

Wait, running a rate-a-prostitute website is illegal? Well, Bil, there goes our plans for the new Bilerico.

Hey, the Catholic church ran houses of prostitution for years, only they called them Nunneries back then.

They're called convents, not nunneries, Diddlygirl. Or, actually, monasteries, since the whores were all men.......

waitaminnit, this is hetero prostitution, isn't it? Jimmy Swaggert said that was OK (didn't he???) and we know that he would never lie, because he's a Christian, no?
