I'm back in Paris with my petit choux-fleur d'amour, so posting will be light from me this week as I get things in order and then head out to Germany to visit family. Thanks to the other Bilerico contributors and especially Dana for picking up the slack Bil and I left in our wake when we both take off the same week.

I don't post much about myself, and I suppose my life become all that much more political the moment I entered one of those much-ballyhooed binational same-sex relationships. I ought to write about it some time, but it's complicated, personal, and messy, both from my perspective and from how my politics formed as my family tree is filled with heterosexual binational couples (including my parents). But I can try to get close to how I'm feeling today by posting Inner City's techno classic "Good Life" (after the jump). It's a good day in Paris today.

Kindred spirits, Alex, a bit rootless with a special place in the heart for the city that awakened the possibilities of life, Paris.

My wife has a similiar affinity for Florence, home city to her family.
