They're setting a time line for DADT repeal in 2010:

Rep. Patrick Murphy (D-Pa.) said he expects the House to hold hearings on a bill to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" in winter or spring of 2010.

Murphy, speaking to the Blade at a Wednesday event sponsored by the Raben Group, a D.C.-based public affairs firm, also said he has 166 co-sponsors lined up for the measure and commitments from another 10 lawmakers to vote for the bill but not sponsor it.

Again, the Senate's going to be a stumbling block, but they're working on getting votes.

Yeah, when I met with my Congressman during the No Excuses campaign, he told me that I should be seeing something on a DADT repeal soon.

I don't know how I feel about it happening during an election year, though. That may prevent it from actually getting accomplished.

*YAWNNnnn* oh yah, thats news... and in 2010 they'll say they can't do it now but with your willing contribution they may get something done in 2012.

It's already depressing that an issue as trivial as DADT, with ample public support, is not a sealed deal....

Oh Goody. Light at the end of the tunnel.

2010... Is really just to depressing.
Billions of dollars and Active Duty Personnel flushed down the proverbial porta potty.

When this is all and I mean it will happen, history. The children of the future will be shaking their heads in confusion and disbelief.

It will just not make any sense. How adults of the pass were so incredibly stupid.

Like trying to explain to the children of today that there use to be "white only" positions in the military. Or "men only" positions for women. Seems LUDICROUS now... and yet it happened.

Homos and Lezzies keep your pants zipped and stand at attention for another year... cause YOU are just THAT important to your Country.
