When Is a Bracelet Not a Bracelet?

Craigslist may be full of creeps, but it can also be a source of unexpected joy. I'm not sure if the latest ad that's been doing the rounds is written by a real mom wanting to make some extra cash despite her naivete or by some comedian in his basement who's probably still laughing his ass off. I vote for the latter; this is just too damn hilarious.

The gist of the ad (posted in Indiana no less!) is this: a mother stumbled upon a friendship bracelet belonging to her son, who has moved to college, and she now wants to sell it - only it's not really a friendship bracelet (although friendship would be nice if you're going to use this this).

Here's a screenshot of the actual ad (click to enlarge):

It reminds me of the little girl in Little Britain USA: "I love you more than anal beads!"

I dunno. I think someone's having fun with this one. No mom I know would ever write text like that.

if my mom thought that was a bracelet, to her it would be just another piece of plastic junk and she would've tossed it

Yeah, that's what makes me think it's just a little fake.

Still funny though!

Either way, it's pretty freakin' hilarious.

Hmmmm...yes, the bit about how "he seemed really embarrassed..." is a dead give-away. Teeensy-weensy bit of unnecessary detail there. Still hilarious.

It is really funny. It wasn't that long ago that I saw one from "a mom" wanting to sell her son's cock ring as a bracelet too.

Hey, folks, this bracelet is available on eBay and Bil's birthday is coming up on October 9th ... if you haven't bought him a gift yet, can you connect the dots from here?

Ooops! It's on CraigsList, I mean.
