Here's a rare opportunity for LGBT youth to get some much needed support - up to a million dollars worth of support! Chase Bank's $1,000,000 Big Idea charity contest starts today and three queer youth orgs are among the 100 finalists.

Here's how it works:

If you have a Facebook account (and by now who doesn't?), you become a fan of Chase's Community Giving fan page and install their voting app. You get five votes out of 100 finalists.

Be sure to vote for the Trevor Project, the Matthew Shepard Foundation and GLSEN and then pick two other charities you find deserving. (I chose the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the National Autism Association.)

The charity with the most votes gets $1,000,000 while five runner-ups will get $100,000 each. Voting ends on January 22nd. Now get going!
