Thank God for Waymon! Jill, Jerame and I are all flying out today for the Netroots Nation conference in Las Vegas and Alex is on vacation in Avignon. Even former editors Michael Crawford and Waymon HudsonFather Tony are off to Vegas for Netroots! Who's going to run the site while everyone is gone?

Waymon! He's back out of retirement as a TBP editor and he's in charge and on his own. While Alex is in the south of France and we're off learning more online activism tricks, Waymon will be filling you in on all the latest LGBT news and handling all the back end work too.

Look for reports from Netroots this week from the many contributors who'll be at the conference as we report back on newsworthy moments and share some of the tricks we're picking up.

Be nice to Waymon while we're traveling. He should have enough content to keep him working from 7am till about 10pm daily, so be sure to give extra time for comment moderation. Want to make it easier on him? Sign up for an account and skip the moderator! It's not easy running TBP on your own, so play nice! The Ed Team will be back on regular duty Monday morning.

Hold on to your hats, everyone!! :)

Waymon can handle it. Besides we always play nice right?
