While Alex is traveling here, I get the chance to sneak in and do a Queer Music Friday. Who did I choose? One of my favorite bands, Vampire Weekend, of course! They're music has a good rollicking pop-ish feel to it and it always puts a smile on my face and their keyboardist recently came out to Out magazine.

When I left Indy for DC, my best friend Josh made me a CD and put this song on it since it seemed to fit me as an editor. After all, who really gives a fuck about an Oxford comma? Ask Alex. I do. *grins*

Two of my other favorites, Mansard Roof (which was also on Josh's CD) and A-Punk (which I learned to love thanks to Guitar Hero) are after the jump.

I call them serial commas and I believe they should always be used. Where do you stand on the issue?
