Bob Marshall of Virginia defends his legislation to ban LGB servicemembers in the Virginia National Guard. He lied about how DADT hasn't been ruled unconstitutional, which, surprisingly, the journalist knew about but didn't push him on. I thought he was misrepresenting the Pentagon study of DADT in 2010 until he finally said that he was referring to 1993 data (which I'm assuming he misrepresented as well, although I'm not familiar with it).

Too bad they didn't get to the state currency bill. That'd be so awesome in the US - every state with it's own money! I'm sure people would love to change currency at every state border.

This is when it is embarrassing to be from Virginia.

Wow... So never mind most of Europe what DOES have gay service members... Or that it was ruled unconstitutional (a ruling that may just stand, since it's not being appealed now that the ban has been lifted.)

Why was he allowed to lie so blatantly on the air?
