Happy St. Patrick's Day! Since I'm not Irish, I'll let the Muppets take it from here...

So go kiss a leprechaun, pick a four-leaf clover, or lift a green beer in honor of Bilerico tonight. We may not be Irish, but we can pretend, right? Strangely enough, we have plans tonight to meet two friends for Ethiopian food. You know me - always contrary, eh?

I think it bears pointing out that celebrating St. Patrick's Day is as much a Roman Catholic tradition as it is an Irish one.

I'm not trying to bash anyone, only making an observation ... so ... 'Nuf sed.

Ethiopian? Damn. Bring the Pepto. It's bangers 'n mash, or corned beef and cabbage tonight!

Funny ... to order corned beef 'n' cabbage, it has to be St. Paddy's Day ... but any good Jewish delicatessen will serve you a Reuben sandwich any day of the year ...
