A rare, beautiful, turn-of-the-20th century image of a delighted maid watching the lovely transformation of her Sir to her Ma'am. Not only was gender fluidity known and accepted among libertines, such images signal that cross-dressing was considered a beautiful (and profitable) erotic subject. If that spirit had only prevailed, we would live in a freer, more egalitarian world today.
