Over on the post about a Bluffton, Indiana man being harassed at a local gas station by an employee because of his sexual orientation, Projector Craig Fox weighs in with some arrogant assumptions about people from rural Indiana.Thumbnail image for comment-of-week.jpg

don't forget this is rural Indiana- - home of uneducated bigots who peaked out as juniors in high school, and resent everyone else in the world because they never bothered to graduate, then wonder why they aren't rich and famous like important people! UNfortunately, the world has no need of ditch diggers anymore, and that means that these people are dinosaurs to start with- - already outclassed by the time they are 14, and so frustrated by the fact that they cannot do anything other than blame anyone they can think o f ( other than themselves) for their inability to do anything other than sell gas. It is pathetic, but no less painfull to the rest of society. The worst thing is that these are the people who are breeding- - IQ below 75, and resenting it all the way.

I'd like to remind Mr. Fox that my hometown of Winchester, Indiana has a population of under 5,000 while Bluffton is just shy of 10,000 people. When I was younger, I worked for a couple of convenience store chains as a store manager. A couple of years ago to help the gutters drain water away from our house in Indianapolis, I dug a ditch so our basement wouldn't flood every time it rained.

That's me he's talking about. I, however, graduated high school, have managed to accomplish several things so far, have an IQ over 75, didn't peak out in 1989, and have no biological children. I can also spell "painful."

We should be proudly displaying stereotypes only in museums, folks, not in the comments section of Bilerico Project.
