Which Mitt Romney spoke to the Des Moines Register at the end of last week? While resident dipshit Rick Perry's latest gaff made all the headlines (he can't name Supreme Court justices and thinks there's only eight of them instead of nine), Romney made some interesting comments that have been overlooked.

While the flip-floppy politician had earlier announced his opposition to a federal marriage amendment, now he supports it while declaring it a politically impossible fight (so don't expect him to do anything more than mouth support - at least this week).

Also from one-eightly land, while he opposed the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell just earlier this year, Romney says he has no plans to re-implement it like all the other buffoons lurching hopefully toward the nomination.
