TV Networks Fail to Broadcast Obama's Major LGBT Announcement

Yesterday, President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced the administration's new stance on international LGBT issues. Clinton's speech was truly moving and quite historic as she denounced the criminalization of LGBT people globally. So, you would think the networks would cover it, right?

Wrong! In fact, only the cable news channels covered it. Think Progress has the numbers:


However, the networks covered Kim Kardashian and Jerry Sandusky - but nothing on this major LGBT moment.
