Freddie-Mercury.jpgIt is official. I am psychic.

In a previous post on the new trend of dead musicians being forced back onstage through feats of technology, I made a wish list of who I wanted to see return. This list included the late Queen frontman, Freddie Mercury. Now my wishes are granted.

Mercury's ghost is returning to mark the ten year anniversary of the West End musical We Will Rock You. While it is not a fantasy Dancing With the Stars, I'll say my prediction was spot on.

But this brings us back to the question, "Is this really worth the effort?," and "Is it really more than a projected movie and exploitation of a dead bandmate?" I'm going to have to agree with the later.

The creators swear it will not be a hologram, but an optical illusion (I thought a hologram was an illusion). Either way, the more I think about it, the angrier I get. Let the man rest in peace.

What are your thoughts? Should we be returning celebrities from the dead? Who would be on your wish list?

Check out the video of the late artist's magnum opus after the jump.
