"To guarantee personal freedom, the marriage between same sex people needs to be recognized."

-- From an opinion letter sent to social organizations and related agencies by the Vietnamese Ministry of Justice. While the government organization stresses that it doesn't think the general population is ready to embrace marriage equality currently, it makes it clear that education about LGBT issues is necessary to ramp up to full equality.
