The Ninth Circuit has lifted the stay on same-sex marriages in California. You can walk down to your local clerk now, get a license, and get hitched.

Which is just what Prop 8 plaintiffs Kris Perry and Sandy Stier did.

California Attorney General Kamala D. Harris was the officiant. Harris refused to defend Prop 8 in court and had asked to Ninth Circuit to lift the stay immediately and allow weddings to begin again.
