In case you missed it, Robin Roberts, anchor of ABC's "Good Morning America," came out publicly for the first time yesterday in a Facebook post.

Today Roberts received support from no less than the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama:

The signature "-mo" indicates that the congratulatory tweet was written by the First Lady herself, not a staffer.

Roberts's coming out isn't the first time she's made LGBT news: she conducted the May 2012 interview where President Obama announced his support for marriage equality.

Roberts joins a bevy of out and proud LGBT news personalities including Thomas Roberts, Rachel Maddow, Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon, Jenna Wolfe, and Sam Champion.
