coca-cola-russia-queernation-ad.jpgIn the nearly two days since we last checked in with the brilliant pro-LGBT hijacking of McDonald's' pro-Olympics #CheersToSochi Twitter hashtag, the scope of the campaign has broadened to include other corporate Olympic sponsors, including GE, Procter & Gamble, Dow Chemical, and Samsung.

Late last night, LGBT direct-action organization Queer Nation, the driving force behind the protest, released a hard-hitting video targeting another proud Worldwide Olympic Partner, Coca-Cola.

The video features the tune of Coca-Cola's iconic jingle "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing," and juxtaposes happy-go-lucky images from the company's classic commercial with brutal footage of LGBT Russians being harassed, arrested, and beaten.

It's incredibly jarring, but effective. Watch after the jump, then tweet this under the #CheersToSochi hashtag. (WARNING: graphic.)
