The full U.S. Supreme Court has just denied Alaska Republican Governor Sean Parnell's request to stay a federal court ruling striking down that state's marriage discrimination amendment.

A temporary stay -- put in place by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday in order to give the state time to file a stay request with the Supreme Court -- expired at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time (3:00 Eastern, just minutes ago), meaning that marriage equality will resume in Alaska.

The order is after the break, via Equality Case Files.
