bilerico-5dollar-donate.jpgAs we head into Bilerico's evolution and technological upgrade, I wanted to give you an update on our fundraising drive. As of today, we have half of the monthly donors we've asked for to keep the site up and running.

So far, 15 people are donating at least $5 a month to help us make the much needed improvements. Thanks to other donors, we've also raised over $800 in one-time donations. Won't you join them in supporting Bilerico's work to inform and entertain the LGBT community?

We'll be updating Bilerico's look as we migrate to a new content management system. We plan to start paying our writers for their hard work. Our efforts over the past decade have mostly been a labor of love; we've only made a pittance from advertising.

We've done this for so long because we care about the community. Won't you show us some love in return?

After the break there's a list of the wonderful folks who've stepped up to donate either monthly or gave us a one-off donation. We can't express our appreciation enough for these wonderful readers who are helping us keep the lights on while also stepping up our capabilities to bring you even better coverage in the future.
